Gmail is the free email service from Google. It is used by over 1.5 billion people and comes pre-installed on most Android mobile phones and tablets. If you have an Android device, you will normally need a Gmail address in order to use it effectively. You can also use Gmail on Apple devices, laptops and desktop computers.
What do you need to use Gmail?
- You will need a smartphone, tablet or computer with access to the internet.
- Download the corresponding app for your device. Gmail is available on Android phones and tablets, as well as iPhones and iPads. You can also access it on computers using a standard web browser.
- You will need a Gmail account.
