The Dementia Services Development Centre has created an online resource exploring the importance of communication following a diagnosis of dementia.

Included in the resource is an overview of how dementia affects communication, the role of the environment in communication and managing communication to better support someone living with dementia.

This resource is a part of the ‘Dementia Education for Family Carers and Volunteers’ project run by the DSDC.
