Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) , based at the University of Stirling, has a number of publications that offer ’10 Helpful Hints’ in caring for people with dementia. They also have a design centre aimed primarily at residential nursing homes but with useful ideas regarding layout, colours, clocks, lighting and alarms for people with dementia.
