Bellfield Centre Third Sector Hub Meeting

As OCN progresses, more and more quality partnership opportunity’s continue to open up. On Friday 18th January we were excited to be part of an initial exploratory meeting to talk about opportunities to work in partnership within the Bellfield Centre, Third Sector Hub at Stirling Community Hospital. The well attended meeting was an opportunity to see the third sector hub, begin talking about the current and future programme opportunities, values and vision for the spaces and centre, and some of the operation opportunities and challenges. It was a really positive meeting which was attended by a wide variety of third sector and NHS staff. There is a lot of potential.

One of OCN’s interests would be to look at how we can follow patients from hospital to home, what role OCN can play with re connecting people to their own neighbourhood and OCN having a presence in the Bellfield Centre once a week as part of a rolling presence of community projects. There may also be scope for digital and environment leads to contribute to programmes, events and developments at the hub.
